Timber Pointe Outdoor Center Camps

Timber Pointe Outdoor Center offers Youth Inclusive Adventure Day Camps with adaptive activities, breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. The day camps run Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm and cost $450 per week. The center also offers weekend overnight camps, weekend day camps, a 5-night summer overnight camp, a 3-night teen/young adult mini overnight camp, and a 2-night inclusive youth mini overnight camp.

Programs

• Youth Inclusive Adventure Day Camps — children ages 5-17 with or without a disability; programming designed for developmental age 5-13 · Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm · $450 per week · All activities are adaptive; include breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
• Summer Overnight Camps - 5-Night Summer Overnight Camps (Inclusive Youth) — ages 7-17 of all abilities, with or without a disability, neurodivergence or life-altering illness · $1,300 · June 7th-12th and July 12th-17th.
• Summer Overnight Camps - 5-Night Summer Overnight Camps (Adult) — ages 18+ with a disability, neurodivergence, and/or life-altering illness · $1,300 · June 21st-26th and June 28th-July 3rd.
• Summer Overnight Camps - 3-Night Teen/Young Adult Mini Overnight Camp — ages 15-21 with a disability, neurodivergence, and/or life-altering illness · $750 · June 14th-17th; check-in 4:00pm on Sunday and check-out 10:00am on Wednesday.
• Summer Overnight Camps - 2-Night Inclusive Youth Mini Overnight Camp — ages 7-17 of all abilities, with or without a disability, neurodivergence or life-altering illness · $550 · June 17th-19th; check-in 4:00pm on Wednesday and check-out 3:00pm on Friday.
• Weekend Overnight Camps — youth ages 7-17 with or without a disability and/or life-altering illness; adults ages 18+ with a disability and/or life-altering illness · Friday 6:00pm-Sunday 12:00pm · $500 per session · Weekend camps are offered as overnight camps.
• Weekend Day Camps — children ages 5-17 with or without a disability and/or life-altering illness · 8:30am-8:30pm on select dates · $180 per session · Weekend camps are offered as day camps.

About the provider

The Timber Pointe Charitable Foundation was established in 1996. Easterseals began providing camping experiences for children with disabilities in the early 1950's, and the property was purchased from the Boy Scouts in 1989. Timber Pointe Outdoor Center provides specialized outdoor recreational, experiential and family programs for individuals with disabilities and illnesses in a fun, safe and accessible environment. They partner with organizations that serve kids and adults with life-altering illnesses or disabilities.

All camp sessions are initially waitlisted and applications are reviewed before progressing registration status. Overnight camps require a Physician Release Form to attend. Campers may use adaptive equipment and strategies. Day camp sessions are inclusive and adaptive.
