Kids Camps offers summer camps through Rend Lake College. Summer camps at RLC are designed with a variety of interests in mind. Camps are available for students entering grades K–8, with individual age restrictions based on the camp content.

Since 1969, Rend Lake College has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Rend Lake College has an open admission policy, and its campuses have been smoke-free since July 1, 2015. The college’s mission states that it provides educational opportunities across cultural and economic boundaries to a diverse student population and is committed to students’ success in achieving their educational goals and meeting community-focused program objectives. Rend Lake College notes that student journeys start there.
Rend Lake College reports community involvement through meeting the training and retraining needs of business and industry and providing residents of the college district with training needed to upgrade skills or obtain full-time employment. The Center can provide customized training to area employers using Rend Lake College instructors, staff, and consultants, and RLC is partnering with Collette Vacations. Lori Ragland serves as President of Rend Lake College.
