NPRC Camps offers a one-week camp that includes making crafts, playing games, taking fun trips, and performing a variety of different experiments daily. Campers take part in activities that include math, science, social studies, literacy, art, technology, sports, arts and crafts, theme days, field trips, and swimming. Activities are held both indoors and outdoors, and Illinois Standards and Benchmarks are followed. Students are transported on Friday to a pool to swim, and every day presents a new set of activities.
• Schedule: One-week camp sessions with the option to register for individual days or the entire week
• Price: Early bird discount rates are available for campers who are paid in full by May 17th, and a $50 non-refundable deposit can be made to secure a spot in camp
Included in the camp fee are bus transportation for all field trips, field trip fees, one summer camp t-shirt, one summer camp book bag, lunch, and a snack. CCR&R payments are accepted, and the Joliet Park District's refund policy is firmly enforced. Campers are also asked to bring a lunch and snack every day. Inwood Park is recognized as a PlayCore/GameTime National Demonstration Site for Inclusive Play and PlayOn!.
