NPRC Camps offers a mix of recreational and educational activities, including math, science, social studies, literacy, art, technology, sports, arts and crafts, and theme days. Campers spend time making crafts, playing games, and performing a variety of different experiments daily. Activities are held both indoors and outdoors, and the program includes field trips, fun trips, and swimming at a pool, with students transported on Fridays to the Inwood Athletic Club Pool to swim.
• Price: Early bird discount rates are available for campers who are paid in full by May 17th. A $50 non-refundable deposit can be made to secure a spot in camp. CCR&R payments are accepted. Included in the fee is bus transportation for all field trips, field trip fees, one summer camp t-shirt, one summer camp book bag, lunch, and snack.
The program is described as a hands-on, fun, interactive science camp and a recreational and educational program. Families can register for individual days or the entire week. The Joliet Park District's refund policy will be firmly enforced. Families are instructed to bring a lunch every day, with some materials stating to bring a lunch and snack every day.
