About

The Golf After School Program introduces juniors to golf through activities such as Introduction to Golf, Rules & Etiquette, Club and Equipment Review, and the Basics of Golf. The program includes focused work on the Long Game, Fairway Shots, Short Game, Iron Play, Around The Green, Putting, and On Course Play, where juniors use the skills they have learned in an on-course setting. Students are escorted from Lake Bluff Elementary School or arrive at the designated start time, and golfers must provide their own clubs, with no food and beverage allowed during sessions.

• Ages: 7–11 years old
• Schedule: Four-week sessions on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons from 2:45pm to 4:00pm
• Price: Fees are $160 per junior per session payable in advance.

The Golf After School Program is designed to introduce juniors ages 7 to 11 to the game of golf through an informative and fun instruction environment. Professional staff work with junior golfers to establish sound golf fundamentals. The program welcomes golfers with disabilities, and the course will make reasonable accommodations to support their participation. No refunds are issued for missed sessions due to weather, failure to attend, or illness. Lake Bluff is described as one of only a few public facilities offering private club caliber amenities, and its On Course Play session gives juniors time on the course as part of the program.
