About
The Lacrosse Academy Camps at Lake Forest Academy focuses on lacrosse instruction, including daily fundamental station work, individual positional work, competitive position drills, systematic unsettled play concepts, and team play. Campers take part in one-on-one private lessons, goalie training in a dedicated “goalie compound,” and face-off coaching. All players are individually evaluated, and each camper at overnight camps receives two private, one-on-one lessons with a staff member, while day campers receive one private lesson.

• Schedule: One session from Monday, June 22 to Thursday, June 25, 2026; campers check in from 1:00 pm–2:00 pm on the first day and may leave after checkout at 11:30 am on the last day of camp
• Price: Boys ages 9-18: $640 Overnight Campers | $540 Extended-Day Campers | Overnight Goalies $540 | Full-Day Goalies $440; a convenience fee of 2.8% is applied to credit card transactions only
The Lacrosse Academy Camps at Lake Forest Academy offers overnight and day sessions, including an extended-day option where campers attend morning, afternoon, and evening training sessions and are provided lunch and dinner before going home after the evening session. The program uses a very low camper-to-coach ratio, with a stated player-to-coach ratio of 7:1, and provides daily specialized coaching in goalie play and face-offs. Camp sessions are staffed by college coaches, high school coaches, and collegiate players who are selected for their lacrosse expertise, their ability and desire to teach young players, and their ability to supervise campers, and goalies receive specialized training from a dedicated goalie coach and a collegiate coach.
The Lacrosse Academy has been operating since 1987 and is described as the best teaching lacrosse camp. Its approach is grounded in teaching and mentorship, with learning, fun, and safety named as its guiding principles when planning camps. The Lacrosse Academy originated one-on-one private lessons, and “The Lacrosse Academy” and “One-on-One Private Lessons” are trademarks of The Lacrosse Academy.
