McHenry Township Junior Warriors offers travel youth tackle football, Spring Flag Football, and Girl's Fall Flag Football. The program includes five levels of play with both a Saturday and Sunday program. It is a non-profit travel youth tackle football program run by parent volunteers.

• Schedule: Season runs from the end of July until mid-November, with practices Monday–Friday 5:30pm–7:30pm and games on both Saturday and Sunday.
The McHenry Township Junior Warriors organization has been a part of McHenry County since 1965. It is a member of The Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL). In the most recent season described, the program had 12 teams and 220 players. Participants in the MTJW program have a listed set of rights, including the right to use equipment capable of protecting the player as intended.
Coaches are required to have active certification from USA Football, NYSCA, or ASEP. PCA certification is required for all 2022 coaches who did not coach in TCYFL in 2021. USA Football certification includes concussion training and meets the 2022 requirement of TCYFL. Advanced Concussion Training is required for coaches with NYSCA or ASEP certification and is highly recommended for coaches with USA Football certification.
The program states that its goal is to teach each player the fundamentals of football, safety, sportsmanship, character, and teamwork. It states that athletes are taught to exemplify sportsmanship, character, and a sense of community while developing their football skills.
General meetings are held once a month during the off-season and are open to everyone, and coaches are strongly encouraged to attend. These general meetings start at 7pm and generally last no more than 1 hour. The organization offers 2026 Tackle Football Registration for ages 5–14, 2026 Spring Flag Football Registration for ages 4–14, 2026 Girl's Fall Flag Football Registration for grades K–8, and a 2026 Denise Ryan Scholarship Application.
