LWD Swim School offers swim lessons that include group swim lessons, private swim lessons, and custom private swim lessons. Custom private lessons consist of five 45-minute lessons and are one-on-one with an experienced instructor. Group lessons separate participants into levels according to skill, with two levels for the Tot/Kinder age group and six levels for school-age participants.
• Ages: 0–15 years old
• Schedule: Custom private lessons are scheduled around the family's schedule, and a coordinator contacts participants one week before custom private lessons begin to schedule the day and time.
The program uses consistent instructors and follows a new session structure with updated curriculum and lesson plans. A water safety component is taught in every lesson. Each participant receives an individual report card at the end of each session. Adults are required to be in the water with children in the 6 months to 3 years class. Children who are not toilet trained must wear tight-fitting swim pants. The program states, “We believe that learning to swim is not just an important life skill but a lifelong asset, promoting fitness, confidence, and a love for the water.”
