Studio Dance Center offers Dance Class and Summer 2026 Dance. These activities take place at a community center that includes aerobic and dance studios and a full-size gymnasium, along with other activity rooms that are all ADA accessible. Lindenhurst Park District, which runs the program, was formed on April 15, 1988.
Lindenhurst Park District states that its mission is to enrich the quality of life for the people of the community by providing parks, recreational programs, and facilities through the efforts of staff, the generosity of area residents and businesses, and the cooperation of governmental and private agencies. The district is located in northwestern Lake County, Illinois, and offers recreational opportunities that include 19 named park sites, two beaches, 15 playgrounds, and 25 parcels of open space totaling 134.5 acres with both active features and designated passive or natural areas. The community center where the program is held is 31,000 square feet, and all facilities in the community center are ADA accessible. The current park board has over 70 years of combined experience. The district notes that it has a supporting cast of local individuals, organizations, government, and businesses that allows the Park District to move forward progressively and accomplish improvements it identifies as beneficial to residents.
