About
B.E.S.T Leadership Summer Camp includes Social Emotional Learning (SEL), sports and physical activities, theatre, conflict resolution, outdoor adventures, and community service projects where participants volunteer at local food pantries. The program also includes a week-long STEM experience at DePaul University on a college campus.

• Schedule: June 29–July 31, 2026, Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
The B.E.S.T. (Building | Empowering | Serving | Together) Leadership Summer Camp is tailored specifically for students eager to embark on a transformative journey of growth, learning, and fun. The camp is hosted by Living Grace Church and The Woods Community Development Corporation, with collaboration from school districts, police departments, and local colleges. Staff include experienced camp directors, certified instructors, police departments, and college STEM programs who are dedicated to providing a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment for kids. The program offers a community service and servant leadership emphasis, along with an opportunity for churches or organizations to duplicate the B.E.S.T Leadership Summer Camp program, including access to camp manuals, marketing materials, administrative tools, and staff training in best practices for partner organizations.
