Camp Shaw-waw-nas-see has over 75 years of camp history. It is ACA-accredited. Its mission statement says it is rooted in nature and tradition and inspires connection and growth through joyful play, purposeful learning, and peaceful interaction. Camp Shaw also lists these requirements and options: campers must turn in all medications in original containers at check-in, the camp is a nut-free environment, a vegetarian menu is available during registration, supplemental food may be provided by the camper and stored in the dining hall, and campers with disability or special needs should call at least 90 days in advance for an evaluation.
