Markham Soccer Club x TOP Sports Camps – Summer Soccer Camps offers structured soccer activities that include skill development, small-sided games, and engaging drills. Campers also take part in additional activities such as lacrosse, flag football, touch rugby, invasion games, and a World Cup-style tournament. The program includes camp divisions called Active Start, FUNdamentals, and Learn-to-Train, as well as a Girls Soccer Camp during select weeks.
• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Six weeks of summer soccer camps throughout July and August
Each day, campers take part in structured soccer activities described by the program as designed to build skills, confidence, and a love for the game. The Active Start division (ages 4–5) is a half-day program introducing the basics of soccer in a fun setting. The FUNdamentals division (ages 6–8) is a full-day camp focusing on skill-building and gameplay, and the Learn-to-Train division (ages 9–12) is a full-day program described as designed to challenge and develop players. Afternoons feature a “Sport of the Day,” with additional sports such as lacrosse, flag football, touch rugby, and invasion games, and Fridays include a World Cup-style tournament day.
The camps are led by qualified and experienced coaches, including TOP Soccer Technical Director Tom Waud and trained staff. The broader leadership and technical team for the program includes Executive Director and Operations Manager/Rep Administrator Anna Tripodo, House League Administrator Gordon Williamson, Office Administrator Julie Robinson, Head Referee Anthony Yacub, President Tony Cardinale, Treasurer Tim Efthimiou, Secretary Jeannette McKinlay, Directors-at-large Krste Krstinovski, Chandler Da Silva, George Bexis, Marc Bozzo, and Pedro Maya, Technical Director Laura Gosse, Girls High Performance Manager Steve Airlie, Boys Talented Pathway Manager John Morelli, Girls Grassroots Manager Dino Cramarossa, Boys Grassroots Manager Andrew Cairns, Academy Coaches Joe Ciano, Sherif El-Masri, and Jonathan Franco, Goalkeeper Coaches Eva Colella and Arshdeep Virk, and Academy Coach/House League Program Supervisor Kristina Issa and Academy Coach Bill Popovski.
