Driftwood Farm Riding Lessons offers lessons for ages 6 and up, including beginner instruction, advanced jumping lessons, and student horse shows. The program also offers four student horse shows each year for its customers and attends the “A” circuit and NIHJA horse shows.

Driftwood Farm Riding Lessons operates with 33 12x12 box stalls, indoor and outdoor arenas, multiple large grass turnouts, a heated and air conditioned tack room, two hot and cold water wash racks, and a heated and air conditioned viewing lounge. Driftwood Farm has been in operation since 2012. The program is led by Heidi Wilson, who has been with horses since she was a child and comes from an equestrian family. After graduating from high school, Heidi worked for her mother, Jane Wilson, at Mundelein Equestrian Center for 20 years, where she taught lessons and trained clients’ horses for both the IHJA “A” and “B” circuits and the NIHJA circuit. Under Heidi’s training, many of her riders have qualified for and won different medals and received multiple year-end awards. Heidi specializes in working with young horses to help them develop into junior and amateur horses and continues working with students and their horses, providing a calm working environment.
