Driftwood Farm offers lessons for ages 6 and up, including beginner lessons and advanced jumping lessons. The program also includes student horse shows, with four student horse shows a year for customers and attendance at both “A” circuit horse shows and NIHJA horse shows.

Driftwood Farm has been in operation since 2012. The facility includes 33 12x12 box stalls, indoor and outdoor arenas, multiple large grass turnouts, a heated and air conditioned tack room, two hot and cold water wash racks, and a heated and air conditioned viewing lounge. Heidi Wilson is the trainer and is a sponsored professional who teaches lessons and trains client horses. Heidi has been with horses since she was a child and comes from an equestrian family. After graduating from high school, she worked for her mother, Jane Wilson, at Mundelein Equestrian Center for 20 years, teaching lessons and training client horses for the IHJA “A” and “B” circuits and the NIHJA circuit. Under Heidi’s training, many of her riders have qualified for and won different medals and received multiple year-end awards. Heidi specializes in working with young horses to bring them along and help them develop into junior and amateur horses. Heidi continues working with students and their horses, providing a calm working environment.
