The mission statement for Medinah Day Camp describes it as offering a traditional day camp experience in the convenient and familiar setting of the country club, with outstanding amenities, exciting programming, and an experienced and energetic staff team.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear the official camp shirt each day and to dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Families are asked to pack a labeled bag or backpack with optional extra snacks, a flotation vest for certain swimmers or if preferred, golf clubs (encouraged), sunscreen (spray for body is preferred), a swimsuit, a tennis racquet (required), a towel, and a water bottle. The club provides lunch each day, though parents may pack their own lunch in a cooler or backpack, and a snack is served each afternoon with extra snacks encouraged. The camp is described as “nut aware,” so no food containing nuts should be packed, and lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain nuts.
