Black Spur Equestrian Center Camps and Riding Lessons

Black Spur Equestrian Center Camps and Riding Lessons offers camps for kids and adults that include ranch riding, dressage, English, and Western riding lessons. The program also offers Dressage/Western Dress riding lessons, trail rides, and a variety of horse shows, including Ranch shows, Hunter/Jumper shows, Fun Shows, and clinics.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday–Sunday, 7am–10pm

Owners Lee and Jenny Garlach acquired Black Spur Equestrian Center in 2019 and are experienced ranchers. Manager and Horse Trainer Kristin Silk has worked with horses since age 5, rides a handful of disciplines, and offers Western, English, and Dressage/Western Dress riding lessons and horse training. Black Spur Equestrian Center hosts an annual Fundraiser Horse Show where 100% of the proceeds are donated to New Kingdom Trailriders and partners with New Kingdom Trailriders. Guest riders must complete a release of liability form before riding, follow all Black Spur rules, use the releases located on a clipboard on the wall near the black mailbox in the large barn, and place completed releases in the black mailbox.
