About
Paintball Summer Camp centers on traditional paintball, Splatmaster paintball free-for-alls, tactical lasertag battles, tournament style traditional paintball, Airsoft, and laser tag. Campers use Splatmaster guns with added water balloons and paint grenades for morning games, and take part in tactical lasertag based on video game missions and setups that use five different electronic props. The program also includes basic paintball marker care instruction, guidance on how to read a paintball course and make a game plan, and a round robin tournament on the last day from 2 pm to 5 pm with bleachers and viewing decks for spectators.
• Ages: 10–16 years old
• Schedule: One week long session, Monday–Friday, with camp held July 21–25, 2025

Paintball Summer Camp is a day camp intended for 10 to 16 year olds, and no experience is required. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm, with early drop-off available as early as 8 am and late pickup as late as 5:30 pm. Each camper receives 1,000 paintballs per day for a total of 5,000 paintballs, and any rental gear needed, including facemasks, upgraded guns, and chest protectors, is included. Lunch is included each day, and each camper is assigned an outdoor locker to store personal items.
The program includes a “summer pass” that gives free admission to open play sessions every Saturday and Sunday from June through August. All paintball play during camp is supervised by referees, and beginners are welcome with rental gear available. The minimum age to play traditional paintball at the facility is eight years old, and low impact games are available from ages six and up in reserved private parties. Social distancing is part of the game, and the staging area has nine separate pavilion areas.
Xtreme Paintball Park, where the camp is held, has eleven different playing fields on 25 acres and is home to the most paintball playing fields at one location in the St. Louis Metro Area (Millstadt). Its signature Shipyard course is described as one of the only three story courses in the world. The venue includes paved parking, real bathrooms, covered pavilions, nine separate pavilion areas in the staging area, outdoor lockers for kids, and a main registration building available to cool down in the air conditioning. The check-in area has heat and air conditioning.
The camp is staffed by a friendly, highly trained staff, and members of local tournament teams stop by to teach tricks and drills. The mission statement for Paintball Summer Camp is that while the camps are focused around paintball, the main goal is to let kids be kids and have fun. Traditional paintball has been offered at this location since 1998, these summer camps have run every summer since 2014, and tactical lasertag has been offered since 2017.
Located in Millstadt, Illinois, the program serves the St. Louis area, including South County, Affton, Fenton, Arnold, University City, Eureka and Chesterfield, Columbia, Waterloo, Belleville, Cahokia, O’Fallon, Collinsville and Edwardsville and surrounding areas.
Parent feedback includes comments such as, “This place BY FAR has the nicest staff and facilities. It is always well kept, clean, fun, and safe. My 10 yr old kids have been there several times and ask me to go back almost everyday. This will be the only paintball place we will ever go to. Staff is amazing!” from Terri S. Another parent, Mike S., says, “Whether you want to play open play with your buds or test your skills up front on the colorful competitive Airball scene, this Park has It all! Laser tag, Airsoft and .50 cal low impact paintball for the Lil Kiddos! I PLAY EVERY WEEKEND and always have FUN!!”
