Two Rivers YMCA Youth Sports offers a wide range of activities, including Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Soccer, Pickleball, Boxing, Golf, Sports of All Sorts, Baseball, Track & Field, Tumbling, Dance, Martial Arts & Wrestling, Ninja Zone, Swim Lessons, and Tee-ball / Coach Pitch Baseball. For the youngest athletes, ages 3–6, activities are referred to as “academies.” Various sports programming is available throughout the year for kids age 3 through middle school.

• Schedule: Sports are offered across Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall; Basketball runs in Winter, Summer, and Fall 2; Soccer runs in Spring and Fall 1; Volleyball runs in Spring and Summer; Tee-ball / Coach Pitch Baseball runs in Summer
Two Rivers YMCA youth sports programs teach fundamentals and build character through the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Participating in sports at the Y is described as being about building the whole child, from the inside out. The YMCA is always seeking parents and guardians to serve as volunteer coaches for sport league programs, and the application for a Youth Sports Coach Volunteer takes about 10–15 minutes to complete in its entirety. The program is led by Youth Sports Director, Harris Halligan.
The Two Rivers YMCA was founded in 1885 as the Moline YMCA, and the first YMCA in Moline was organized on February 10, 1885. The Two Rivers YMCA is a family oriented 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to providing spiritual, mental, physical development and leadership opportunities consistent with Christian values, and it states the mission “To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.” Income-based membership fees make the Y affordable for all. The Two Rivers YMCA is also described as a family orientated organization committed to providing spiritual, mental, physical development and leadership opportunities consistent with Christian values for members and constituents through excellence in program, services and facilities.
The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The Two Rivers YMCA agrees to serve as administrative agent for Nourish, a regional nutrition collaborative serving meals and snacks out of the Spirit, Mind, & Body Center, the Moline Boys and Girls Club, and the Rock Island Martin Luther King Jr. Center. Moline Parks and Recreation Department and Two Rivers YMCA teamed up to create a partnership that allows Two Rivers YMCA Members to visit Riverside Riverslide as part of their membership at no additional cost. The YMCA Quad Cities Rowing team is based out of the Y’s Sylvan Boathouse. Forty acres at Hillcrest Camp in Orion were purchased for outdoor activities in 1959.
