Warren County YMCA Youth Programs include activities such as Youth Outdoor Soccer, an Outdoor Soccer League, Youth Volleyball Clinic, T-Ball, Baseball, Tumbling, Swim Lessons, and the Waterbugs Swim Team. Children can also take part in crafts, games, swimming, movies, School’s Out Day Camp, the After-School Program, Camp Meskwaki Summer Day Camp, the Counselor in Training (CIT) Program, group fitness classes, recreational sports activities, seasonal camps, and a Father / Daughter Dance.

• Schedule: Options include Childwatch hours on weekdays, an After-School Program in the afternoons, Waterbugs Swim Team practices on weekday evenings with a season running from September to March, and Camp Meskwaki Summer Day Camp running June 1–August 7, 2026.
• Price: Childwatch is free for members and $10 per day per family for non-members; School’s Out Day Camp costs $25.00 for members and $35.00 for non-members; Waterbugs Swim Team fees are $500 for 1 swimmer, $800 for 2 swimmers, $1,000 for 3 swimmers, and $200 for each additional swimmer for the season.
The Warren County YMCA states that After-School State Assistance and Camp Meskwaki Fee Assistance are available through Child Care Resource and Referral of Western Illinois for those who qualify, and that financial assistance is offered for After-School with State Aid accepted. Adult members 18 and older have 24/7 access to the Wellness Center and Free Weight Rooms. Items recommended for the After-School Program include bookbags, notebooks, pencils or pens, sunscreen for outside activities when the weather is nice, hand sanitizer, extra clothes if needed, and swim attire for School’s Out Day Camp only. Participation on the Waterbugs Swim Team requires YMCA membership and successful completion of a coach’s pre-swim evaluation, and the team is coached by members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, with coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities and participation available from novice to international competitors.
Camp Meskwaki Summer Day Camp in 2026 runs from June 1 to August 7, with Early Bird Registration from March 16–22 and Regular Registration beginning March 23, and includes a CIT Program for those going into 7th and 8th grade in fall 2026.
