Morton Grove Park District Summer Camps include activities such as arts and crafts, group games, movies, swimming, golf, track and field, cheerleading, soccer, and other sports camps. Junior Camp, Mor Gro, and Teen Times swim on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Junior Camp and Mor Gro go on field trips on Fridays, and Teen Times goes on field trips on Wednesdays and Fridays. Campers are expected to bring a sturdy bag such as a backpack or tote bag, a water bottle, sunscreen, lunch, a swimsuit, and a pool towel. Counselors do not help apply lotion sunscreen, and if a child needs help, parents are asked to send spray sunscreen. Camp Site Supervisors hold onto a child’s medication, and a Medication Dispensing form must be filled out before leaving medication at the campsite. Counselors administer medication, and campers are not allowed to self-administer medication.
