Heather's Tumble-N-Tap offers summer dance camps and tumbling workshops that include dance, stunting, tumbling, dress up, dance parties, crafts, nails, creative movement, story time, games, and dance battles. Specific camps include Advanced Dance Camp, Princess Camp, Magical Mermaids Camp, K*Pop Dance Camp, and Tumbling Workshops. K*Pop Dance Camp is new this year.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer Camps 2026, with camps on June 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 9:00–11:00 am, plus additional Tumbling Workshops in Session 1 (June afternoons) and Session 2 (July 13–16)
• Price: Each camp is $40 and includes a themed shirt and snack
Advanced Dance Camp on June 3, 2026 runs from 9:00–11:00 am and includes learning a dance and practicing stunting and tumbling. Princess Camp on June 10, 2026 runs from 9:00–11:00 am and includes dress up, a dance party, crafts, and nails, and is described as perfect for the littlest dancers, ages 3–10. Magical Mermaids Camp on June 17, 2026 runs from 9:00–11:00 am and includes creative movement, crafts, story time, and games. K*Pop Dance Camp on June 24, 2026 runs from 9:00–11:00 am and includes dancing to Huntr/x songs, learning a new dance, a dance battle, and crafts.
Heather's Tumble-N-Tap has been serving Mt. Sterling and the surrounding area since 1995, and this spring marks its 30th annual dance recital. The studio is locally owned and operated by Heather Henry and her family, and her dancers often perform at community events, talent shows, and local fundraisers. The annual Christmas and spring recitals are attended by hundreds of people every year.
Owner Heather Henry is a graduate of Perry High School and Illinois College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and elementary education, and she holds a master's degree in teacher leadership from Western Illinois University. She has been dancing all her life and has over 30 years of dance teaching experience, including five years teaching at Linda's School of Dance in Perry, Illinois.
