Owner Heather Henry leads the program and has been dancing all her life, with over 30 total years of dance teaching experience, including five years at Linda's School of Dance in Perry, Illinois. She is a graduate of Perry High School and Illinois College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in both early childhood education and elementary education, and she also received a master's degree in teacher leadership from Western Illinois University.

Heather's Tumble-N-Tap is a locally owned and operated dance studio that has become a staple of the community. Heather, her husband Doug, and their children Madi, Mason, Maverick, and Maggi are active members of the hometown community. Dancers from Heather's Tumble-N-Tap often perform at community events, talent shows, and local fundraisers, and the annual Christmas and spring recitals are attended by hundreds of people each year.
