Heather's Tumble-N-Tap

Heather's Tumble-N-Tap offers dance classes for children ages 3 years and up. The program includes a 3 and 4 year old tap and tumbling class, a combination tumbling, tap, and jazz/poms class, tumbling only, tap only, jazz/poms only, and 2 classes.

Programs

• Dance classes — 3 years & up · Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 3pm to 8pm · Classes taught by Heather. Registration for the 2026-2027 dance season is closed.
• 3 & 4 year old tap & tumbling class — 3 and 4 year olds · 45 minutes · $50 per month · Combination class of tap & tumbling. All dancers must be potty trained.
• Combination tumbling, tap, & jazz/poms class — 3 years & up · $60 per month · Combination class of tumbling, tap, & jazz/poms.
• Tumbling only — 3 years & up · $30 per month
• Tap only — 3 years & up · $25 per month
• Jazz/poms only — 3 years & up · $25 per month
• 2 classes — 3 years & up · $50 per month

About the provider

Heather Henry is the owner, and all classes at Heather's Tumble-N-Tap are taught by Heather. She graduated from Perry High School and Illinois College with bachelor's degrees in early childhood education and elementary education, and she earned a master's degree in teacher leadership from Western Illinois University. Heather has over 30 total years of dance teaching experience. The program has served Mt. Sterling and the surrounding area since 1995, and this spring marked its 31st annual Dance Recital. Dancers perform at community events, talent shows, or local fundraisers.

Pre-registration is required to insure a spot for your child in class for the fall. Registration is now closed for the 2026-2027 dance season. Tuition payments are due the 1st lesson of each month. There is a $20 registration fee to add your child to the classlist. We do not allow observers while class is in session. Classes are canceled when Brown County Schools dismiss early or cancel due to bad weather.
