About

STEM & Buds Naperville is a multi-day program where participants take part in activities, projects, and competitions. The program includes free sessions that feature hands-on applications of diverse STEM topics, and students create their own STEM-based project to share at the end of the program.

• Ages: 6–13 years old
• Schedule: Free sessions held on Mondays from 2 PM–5 PM during the school year, meeting biweekly
• Price: Our free sessions are held at Commissioners Park on Mondays from 2 PM - 5 PM. Every year, we host a completely free summer camp.

STEM & Buds Naperville is part of STEM & Buds, a for-youth, by-youth 501(c)(3) that has been nationally inspiring kids since 2018. The mission of STEM & Buds is to bridge students to mentors, shape ideas into initiatives, and translate science for civics while making STEM and its issues participatory and accessible for all. The chapter focuses on exposing elementary and middle school students to diverse STEM topics through hands-on applications, and students reflect on their identities and interests to create their own STEM-based project to share at the end of the program. STEM & Buds is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
