Millbrook Trail Rides offers horseback riding on scenic trail rides, including a One Hour Trail Ride and One Hour Sunset Rides. The program also offers romantic sunset trail rides, Scout Programs, Horse Camp, company outings, camping, and events. Trail rides take place on picturesque trails that pass through high country, scenic meadows, wooded areas, Buffalo Ridge, pastures with grazing cattle, and Hollenback creek, with an abundance of trails of varying skill levels and no experience needed.

• Schedule: By-appointment trail rides with reservations required, with hours available Wednesday–Sunday and on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Columbus Day
Millbrook Trail Rides was established in 2010 and has been in business for over 10 years. Meredith Gauer is part of the management team and guides rides; she has been riding horses for over 20 years, enjoys many equestrian disciplines, and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a sequence in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management in December 2013. The program uses online scheduling and states that people of all ages can interact with horses and take part in a customized horseback riding adventure. Families are advised to wear pants for riding and may want to bring a camera to capture the views. One parent described riding through corn fields, cow pastures, streams, dense forest preserves, and shaded trails with a guide named Lily, and another rider described a one-hour ride with views ranging from cornfields to forest to wide open areas.
