Camp Emmaus offers activities such as swimming in the outdoor pool, hiking, cross country skiing, fishing, bird watching, picnics, and campfires. Campers can also take part in basketball, volleyball, tetherball, ping-pong, four-square, and a Target Sports Camp. The camp includes Elementary through Senior High camps, as well as separate family camps during the summer.

• Schedule: Sessions run on specific 2026 dates, including Memorial Day Weekend (May 22–25), Counselor Training (CIT) June 12–14, Elementary Camp June 13–14, Target Sports Camp June 14–17, Senior High Camp July 5–11, Survivor Camp July 12–18, Intermediate Camp July 19–23, YAAYAH Camp July 24–26, Middle School Camp July 26–August 1, Women’s Camp August 6–8, and Labor Day Weekend September 4–7
Camp Emmaus is owned and operated by the Church of the Brethren, District of Illinois and Wisconsin, and is utilized during the summer for Brethren sponsored youth camps, including Elementary through Senior High and separate family camps. In addition to Church of the Brethren camps, Camp Emmaus accepts various groups, both religious and secular, and participation in the programs is open to everyone. The mission of the Board programming in this outdoor setting is to strengthen faith in Christ, develop stewardship of God's creation, strengthen future Christians by nurturing mature decision making, look beyond individuals independently in intercultural experiences, and develop strong Christian leaders, while also seeking to provide good quality year round facilities for use by a variety of groups as a service to the local community and region. Camp Emmaus is a member of the Outdoor Ministry Association of the Church of the Brethren. The Food Distribution Program at Camp Emmaus is available to all eligible participants without regard to race, color, national origin, handicap, sex, or age.
