Programs provide youth soccer for girls and boys ages 4–18 and feature over 1,500 players in the Palatine Celtic program, and Palatine Celtic Soccer Club is described as one of Illinois' oldest and largest clubs. The U3–U4 Summer Camp is open to all boys and girls and meets for 1 hour, for a one week camp from Monday to Thursday, with the stated goal of fostering a passion for the game through fun soccer related games and athletic activities. The goal of the U5–U6 Summer Camp program is to ignite a passion for the game and focus on developing technical, physical and tactical skills. Celtic Jr Academy uses a progressive developmental curriculum for two separate age groups: 3/4 year-olds and 5–7 year-olds, with 3/4 year-old Junior Academy sessions introducing little ones to the game for the first time in once-a-week classes focused on fun and games, and 5–7 year-old Junior Academy sessions focusing on technical skills, abilities, and “ball mastery,” and these 5–7 year-old sessions can supplement the Celtic U7 House League recreational soccer.
All Celtic competitive teams are coached by USSF and NSCAA licensed coaches, and many coaches have collegiate and, in some cases, professional playing experience. Some coaches have been Celtic players themselves, high school varsity state champs, college scholarship earners, and professional players. The Summer Camp Admin is listed as Olivia Hurwitz, with Coach Gordy Poluyanskis and Coach Nick Walan also named.
The Palatine Celtic SC mission is to provide the best youth soccer development training center in Illinois, with a philosophy that puts players first. The club’s Directors and Staff have constructed a game model, a curriculum with an emphasis on education and player learning styles, and a playing style that guides players to be confident and intelligent young players while under pressure, with a stated goal of developing good soccer players and outstanding people. Many Celtic players are current members of the Palatine High School and Fremd High School varsity teams, and the Palatine 2007G Black became the first Palatine Celtic team in its 56-year history to advance to the semi-finals at a National Event after winning US Club Soccer Midwest Regionals.
Refunds will not be offered after 1 week prior to the start of each camp week, and registration ends at 5 PM on the Sunday before each camp is to begin. All approved refunds will be applied as a household credit unless another form of refund is requested, and if another form is requested, a $6.00 processing fee will be applied. Summer 2026 registration is listed as open, and 2026 Celtic Summer Camp registration opens on Friday, March 20th, with each camp offering unique activities, schedules, and age groups, and both recreational and competitive camps are offered.
