• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Four-day camp weeks with daily sessions offered in 9–11 AM, 1–3 PM, or 5–7 PM time blocks; summer camp registration opens Saturday, March 22nd at 9 AM, and registration ends at 5 PM on the Sunday before each camp week begins.
• Price: All camps are $170 and include a shirt, with a 10% discount per player for registering for 2 or more camps over the summer; approved refunds are applied as household credit unless another form is requested, and a $6.00 processing fee applies to non-credit refunds.
Celtic Summer Camps are organized into four camp weeks, each running four days: June 16th–19th, June 23rd–26th, July 7th–10th, and July 14th–17th, with specific camps assigned to morning or evening time blocks during each week. All camp age groups are based on the upcoming fall school grade level or group level, and when appropriate during each camp, players are divided by age and/or ability level. Participants are asked to bring a soccer ball (size 3 for PreK–2nd grade, size 4 for 3rd–6th grade, and size 5 for 7th–12th grade), a water bottle, soccer-appropriate clothing, shin guards, cleats or gym shoes, and any needed medical supplies.
The Palatine Celtic Soccer Club provides youth soccer programs for girls and boys ages 4–18 and features over 1,500 players in the Palatine Celtic program. The club’s mission is to provide the best youth soccer development training center in Illinois, with a philosophy that puts players first and uses a game model, curriculum, and playing style that emphasize education, player learning styles, and playing under pressure. All Celtic competitive teams are coached by USSF and NSCAA licensed coaches who often have collegiate and, in some cases, professional playing experience.
In 2018, the Palatine Celtic Soccer Club celebrated 50 years as a soccer club and is described as one of Illinois’ oldest and largest clubs, with a 56-year history referenced in connection with a team advancing to the semi-finals at a National Event. The club will be hosting its 43rd Celtic Cup in 2023, and the Palatine Celtic Cup held on Labor Day weekend features over 375 teams annually and brings close to 10,000 players into the community. Community connections include affiliation with the Palatine Park District and partnerships in the Celtic HSB Recreation league with programs from Barrington, Schaumburg, Cary, and other surrounding communities.
The Winter Junior Academy focuses on ball mastery and core fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, and shooting, and introduces concepts including spacing, communication, and overall game flow. In the Junior Academy Program, ages 3–4 explore the game through fun games and engaging activities that introduce core soccer skills, while ages 5–7 participate in dynamic drills focused on athletic development and technical ball mastery. New to the programming is the High School Boys House program for current freshmen through seniors each spring, and DICK’S Sporting Goods is listed as a partner offering additional coupons specific to the organization.
Refunds are not offered after one week prior to the start of each camp week, and all approved refunds are applied as household credit unless otherwise requested.
