• Schedule: The Park Ridge Indoor Football League (PRIFL) runs from late January through March on Sunday afternoons and evenings. Registration for PRIFL closes December 15.

Park Ridge Football and Cheer is part of Park Ridge Sports, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves youth football and cheer participants in the Park Ridge area and operates as an affiliate of the Park Ridge Park District. The organization was established in 1967, originally known as Mighty Mite Youth Sports, and in the 1980s Park Ridge Sports, Inc. chose to focus on football and cheerleading. The program continues to uphold Mighty Mites’ original creed: “The youth of a nation are the trustees of posterity.” Park Ridge Football and Cheer is founded, coached, and supported entirely by volunteers and receives funding from participant fees and donations.

The leadership team includes President Jim Toulon, Vice President Michael Holden, Treasurer Rob Leach, Secretary & Chairman Emeritus Garry Abezetian, and Directors Perry Littrell, Matt Colleran, Charlie Tiberi, and Katie Behzad. Additional 2026 members include Mel Thillens, Roy Hoffman, Katie Brania, Lauren Prandato, Shannon Hickey, Lindsay Fleming, Matt Fulton, Michael Trekas, Tony Mirato, Matt Steiger, and Dan Mathisen. The organization reports that it has developed and delivered thousands of well-trained, disciplined young athletes to local high schools, with athletes prepared with sport-specific skills and core values such as sportsmanship, work ethic, and dedication to training. The program is recognized regionally as a first-class organization within its community.
