Miss Laura's School of Dance Summer Programs

Miss Laura's School of Dance Summer Programs include evening summer dance classes, summer dance intensives, themed dance camps, Tiny Tot Dance, Recreational Dance, Competition Dance, Private Dance Lessons, Adult Dance Lessons, Summer Dance Lessons, Creative Movement, and Birthday Dance Parties. The themed camps include dancing, activities, and fun, and more themed camps can be added to the schedule if there is enough interest. Families can also use the MLSD Phone App and an MLSD Online Account to register, update contact or billing information, check balances, and make payments, and can view a photo and video gallery with pictures and videos from recital and competition.

• Schedule: Evening summer classes run in 4–6 week sessions each summer, with classes meeting once a week for 45 minutes; summer classes run from mid-June through mid-July; intensives meet Monday–Friday; camps are offered in June and July

Miss Laura's School of Dance opened its doors on August 1, 2012. The studio began with a staff of 7 instructors and 3 receptionists and has expanded to 9 instructors plus seasonal instructors and choreographers. The owners are Miss Laura, who handles dance program inquiries, and Mr. Dan, who handles business and account inquiries. The stated mission is to build a solid technical foundation and inspire a passion for dance, provide children of all ages the opportunity to learn how to dance, build confidence, and make friends, and offer many styles of dance with programs for any level of interest at affordable prices in an honest, respectful, and welcoming environment. The stated business philosophy is to provide a positive environment for children of any age, ability, gender, race, or socioeconomic status to learn the art of dance.
