Miss Laura's School of Dance

Miss Laura's School of Dance offers Tiny Tot Dance combo classes for preschool and kindergarten age children, Recreational Dance classes in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, hip-hop, pre-pointe, pointe, and acrobats for children in 1st grade through 12th grade, and Competition Dance for ages 6-18. It also offers Creative Movement Classes for ages 2-3, Adult Dance Classes for ages 18 and up, Private Lessons, Summer Evening Classes, Summer Intensives, and Themed Camps.

• Tiny Tot Dance — preschool and kindergarten age children · Combo classes to give them a taste of different styles of dance and tumbling.
• Recreational Dance — children in 1st grade through 12th grade · A la carte classes in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, hip-hop, pre-pointe, pointe and acrobats.
• Competition Dance — age 6-18 · Must audition in the summer for a spot on the team. Requires 3-6 hours of dancing/tumbling a week, plus travel to competitions in the spring and summer.
• Adult Dance Classes — 18 & up · No dance experience needed.
• Private Lessons
• Creative Movement Classes — ages 2-3 · Movement based classes.
• Summer Evening Classes — Once a week for 45 minutes; 4-6 week summer session · $45 per session
• Summer Intensives — Mon-Fri; 4-5 hours of dancing each day · $150–$250 per session · Each intensive session is scheduled Mon-Fri. Depending on the summer schedule, a shorter mini intensive of 4-5 days may be offered instead of 2 weeks.
• Themed Camps — $25 · Each camp is 60-90 minutes long and includes dancing, activities and fun. Camps are offered in June and July.

Miss Laura's School of Dance opened on August 1, 2012. The leadership team is listed as Miss Laura, Mr Dan, an Office Coordinator, and Traci. The mission statement says the school aims to build a solid technical foundation and inspire a passion for dance, and to give children of all ages the opportunity to learn how to dance, build confidence, and make friends.

Payments are due by the 7th day of each month. On the 8th day of each month a $15 late fee will automatically be applied to all past due accounts. Sibling discount: 10% off each additional student's monthly tuition. Summer intensives fees must be paid in advance and all outstanding account balances must be paid in full to participate. Adult Dance Class Prices: 1 class drop-in $15; 5 class punch card $60; 10 class punch card $100. Private lessons: $40/lesson or $160/month for one student; semi-private lessons $25/lesson per student or $100/month per student.
