Peoria Academy Summer Camp offers weekly themed sessions that include a swimming trip, a visit to a splash pad, and a field trip for campers registered for General Camp, including those in Combined Camps. Campers can take part in sports skill-focused experiences, as well as reading, writing, math, problem-solving, and creative thinking activities. Campers registered for Combined Sports Camp attend Sports Camp in the morning and General Camp in the afternoon, and campers registered for Combined Academic Camp attend Academic Camp in the morning and General Camp in the afternoon.

• Schedule: 10-week summer program from June 1 through August 7, 2026, with camp options offered Monday–Friday
Peoria Academy Summer Camp runs General Camp Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with Sports Camp and Academic Camp each running Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Before care is available from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, and after care is available from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. All campers registered for General Camp, including those in Combined Camps, are scheduled to go on a swimming trip on Monday, visit a splash pad on Wednesday, and go on a field trip on Friday, with schedules subject to updates depending on weather or other circumstances.
Sports Camp is led by experienced coaches and teachers. Peoria Academy Summer Camp is directed by Caitlyn Piccioni. Peoria Academy is the only certified International Baccalaureate Pre-K through 8th grade school in Central Illinois and has held this status since 2000. Peoria Academy has a 9 to 1 student to faculty ratio and has 9 Scholastic Bowl state appearances. Summer Camp is open to both Peoria Academy (PA) and non-PA students, and each week’s theme guides the activities, special guests, and field trips. Peoria Academy uses progressive techniques that nurture the whole child, fostering intrinsic motivation, resilience, and creativity, and is an academically rigorous, globally-minded independent school with a project-based curriculum. Peoria Academy describes its community as a diverse group of students, parents, and educators working together to provide a rigorous educational experience.
