Peoria Academy Summer Camp offers weekly themes with activities, special guests, and field trips that match each theme. Campers in General Camp, including those in Combined Camp options, are scheduled for a swimming trip on Monday, a visit to a splash pad on Wednesday, and a field trip on Friday, with these plans subject to updates depending on weather or other circumstances. The program also includes sports skill-focused experiences, as well as reading, writing, math, problem-solving, and creative thinking activities through its different camp options.

• Schedule: PA Summer Camp runs for 10 weeks from June 1 through August 7, 2026, with General Camp offered Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, and optional before care from 7:30 AM–8:30 AM and after care from 3:30 PM–5:30 PM
Peoria Academy Summer Camp is open to both Peoria Academy (PA) and non-PA students. Families can register for General Camp for the full day, Sports Camp or Academic Camp in the morning, or a Combined Camp option. Campers registered for Combined Sports Camp attend Sports Camp in the morning and General Camp in the afternoon, and campers registered for Combined Academic Camp attend Academic Camp in the morning and General Camp in the afternoon. Academic Camp uses hands-on, engaging activities and is described as being designed to keep learning exciting all summer long. Sports Camp is led by experienced coaches and teachers.
Peoria Academy has existed since 2000. The Peoria Academy Summer Camp Director is Caitlyn Piccioni. Peoria Academy is an academically rigorous, globally-minded independent school with a project-based curriculum and a diverse community of students, parents, and educators. Peoria Academy is the only certified International Baccalaureate Pre-K through 8th grade school in Central Illinois.
There are no refunds allowed for Peoria Academy Summer Camp, but it may be possible to switch weeks if there is space available with at least two weeks’ notice. Payment is due at the time of registration.
