Youth Events at Brothers of St John, St. Joseph Priory include Teen Retreat Days, various Eagle Eye Camps in the USA, a Boys’ Summer Camp, Knights of St. John activities, a Girls Camp, and a Boys Camp. The Contemplative Sisters lead a time of adoration for children and families with songs, prayers, silence, and scripture during First Friday of the Month, Prayer & Intercession. Children of Hope is dedicated to leading children into the mystery of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist.

• Schedule: Teen Retreat Days are held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, and Saturday, April 25, 2026; Boys’ Summer Camp runs July 29–August 2; Knights of St. John meets once a month; First Friday Prayer & Intercession with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament runs from 2:30–6:00 pm; Girls Camp 2026 runs June 29–July 2; Boys Camp 2026 runs July 29–August 2, 2026

Girls Camp 2026 is described as a summer camp full of prayer, teaching, games, crafts, a talent show, campfires, Mass, adoration, lake time, and more, and girls ages 10–13 are invited to attend. Boys’ Summer Camp is for boys ages 10–14 years old, Boys Camp 2026 is for boys ages 11–14 years old, and Knights of St. John is for boys ages 9–14 years old. Retreats held at St. Joseph Priory are open to all with limited spaces available, and private, silent retreats are available, with the Contemplative Sisters welcoming women, married couples, families, priests, and religious for these retreats. The mission of the Brothers of St. John is stated as, “Following John the Apostle, we live together as friends of Christ and witness to his light and love.” The leadership team includes Father Anthony Mary (Prior), Brother Jan (Guest master, Accounting), Brother Benedict Tarcisius, Father Joseph Mary (Hermit), Father John James, Father Bernard Mary, and Brother Josef (Veteran Assisted Living). Community involvement includes retreats in Cranberry, Pennsylvania, and the Man of Shroud display in Princeville, Illinois, at Saint Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
