Thornton Township Youth & Family Services After School and Summer Enrichment Programs offers activities in art, current events, physical development, life skills, home economics, and heritage. The program groups students into cohorts by age ranges 7–10, 10–13, and 13 and older, and activities are tailored to be age-appropriate for each group. Transportation to the program is provided. Parents and guardians can pre-register online and complete registration by attending a mandatory orientation with two proofs of residency, proof of school enrollment, and the child’s birth certificate.
