Gymnastics Academy of Rockford offers recreational classes, a world class competitive program, Spring dance classes, GAR After Hours, Homeschool Open Gym, Preschool Open Gyms, and Parent's Night Out. The facility has over 40,000 square feet of space and is considered one of the finest, safest, and most well equipped gymnastics facilities in the country.

Gymnastics Academy of Rockford began in 1977 with 4,300 square feet of space. The owner is Katlynn Dooley. Coaches at the program are former national and world champions who are respected throughout the gymnastics industry for their personal athletic accomplishments and coaching successes, and the coaches, directors, and staff receive continuing education in all aspects of their careers. The stated mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space where athletes of all ages can grow in gymnastics skills, confidence, character, and life lessons, with a culture based on teamwork, positivity, and celebrating milestones. The program notes that it is proud to continue serving the Rockford community. One parent shared, “Perfect for our 5 year old. Staff helpful at our birthday party!
