Lights, Camera, Dancin' – Classes, Summer Session & Dance Camps offers dance instruction in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jumps & Turns, Creative Dance, and Combination Classes. The program also includes Parent Tot Classes, Adult Classes, leveled dance camps, and opportunities connected to dance conventions, regional and national dance competitions, and performances for the community. • Schedule: The 2026 summer session is 5 weeks long, with summer classes beginning Wednesday, July 15, and 2026–2027 school year classes beginning Saturday, September 12.
• Price: 1 class $95; 2 classes $175; 3 classes $250; 4 classes $325; 5 classes $400; 6 classes $475; 7+ classes $510. Punch cards are $90 for 10 classes for Adult and/or Parent/Tot Classes. A registration fee of $20 per student or $25 per family is due upon registration, there is a $25 charge for all returned checks, and any family with more than one person from the same household registered receives a 10% discount on the listed rates unless one family member holds a punch card.
Lights Camera Dancin' (LCD) is described as a dance studio that is warm and inviting, organized and reliable, and full of history with floors graced by thousands of feet over many years, and it puts on performances and houses a dance team. The studio is described as Roselle's Home for Dance and as a dance studio for all levels from beginner to competitive, and it emphasizes that friends become family and that it will always welcome dancers back even after they have long since participated. All leveled camps serve as the audition for the competitive team Action Dance Crew, and camps also serve as auditions for both Action Dance Crew and Shooting Star Dance Teams. LCD Dance Camps allow dancers to experience all styles of dance in one session and can be taken individually at an hourly rate, and the Shooting Stars Performance Team offers mostly performances, an optional convention, and only 1–2 competitions. Punch cards are available for Adult and Parent/Tot classes and can be used during the school year session.

Stacie Murray has over 20 years of experience as a performer and over 10 years of experience as a choreographer and teacher, has taken dance lessons since age two, and has taken lessons at Dance Techniques, Gotta Dance Studio, and Lou Conte’s. She has extensive training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, HipHop, Musical Theatre, and Modern Dance, danced competitively in regional and national competitions as a Star Lite dancer, has been teaching all styles of dance to dancers ages two through adult, and has coordinated a competitive and performing dance team for over 10 years. Dan Peres started as a Hip Hop dancer at age six, began dancing competitively in 2006 under the direction of Stacie Murray, and has trained in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, and Musical Theatre. He danced as a member of the National Performance Team for Sophisticated Dance Productions in Wildwood, New Jersey, was a finalist for the So You Think You Can Dance 2012 Performance Team in Las Vegas, was choreographer and coach for Jay Stream Competitive Cheerleading for three consecutive seasons, has guest-choreographed for Miami of Ohio University’s Visions Dance Company, has won numerous awards and scholarships for dance, has trained with multiple master instructors, and is a faculty member with Spotlight Dance Cup Dance Competition.
Action Dance Crew is described as an award winning performing and competitive dance team, National Dance Champions, and National Finals Show Down Grand Champions. The Star Lite dancers, with whom Stacie danced, won Entertainment Awards, World Dance Champions, and National Dance Champions. Action Dance Crew has received Entertainment Awards, Top Choreography Awards, Studio Excellence Awards, High Score Awards, Special Awards, Overall Awards, National Dance Champions, and National Finals Showdown Grand Champions.
The studio serves DuPage County, Cook County, Kane County, Will County, and surrounding areas including Roselle, Bloomingdale, Addison, Medinah, Wood Dale, Itasca, Schaumburg, Hanover Park, Streamwood, Bartlett, Glendale Heights, Carol Stream, Hoffman Estates, Elgin, Elk Grove Village, West Chicago, St. Charles, Villa Park, Lombard, and Chicago, IL. Stacie Murray volunteers instructing dance classes for foster children through Hephzibah, coordinates the Flash Mob dance and entertainment portion for all participants during the American Cancer Society: Relay For Life, helps girl scouts earn their dance badge by donating her studio, time, and knowledge, teaches Explore More Day for children to experience dance and possible careers in dance, volunteers at local schools, and has had her dance team participate in a competition that donates to a charity. For registration, a completed Registration Form and signed Liability Waiver are required, along with a valid e-mail address and a registration fee to reserve class space. Payment options include paying tuition in full upon registration, paying half upon registration with the remaining balance prior to July 31st of the current dance year, or purchasing a punch card if qualified. Accepted payment methods are cash, checks made payable to Lights, Camera, Dancin’, and major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. For auditions in the last two weeks of camp classes and any additional audition days or times, dancers are instructed to wear all form-fitting black dancewear with hair in a slicked back bun.
