Summer Camp

Summer Camp 2026 is a program for children ages 5-12 who have already attended kindergarten. Specialty Extended Summer Camp 2026 focuses on topics such as STEM, art, and sports, and it is available only to children enrolled in the regular or extended camp day.

About the provider

The Round Lake Area Park District says its Summer Camp Program strives to provide a safe and fun environment for all children. Programs are supervised by qualified staff certified in first aid and CPR, all staff receive extensive training, and the programs are under the supervision of PDRMA.

• Summer Camp 2026 — Ages 5-12; child must have already attended kindergarten to enroll in School-Age Summer Camp · Mon-Fri, 9:00 am-3:00 pm · $180 per week · Regular camp at Robert W. Rolek Community Center; registration begins Feb. 2, 2026.
• Summer Camp Extended 2026 — Ages 5-12; child must have already attended kindergarten to enroll in School-Age Summer Camp · Mon-Fri, 6:45 am-6:00 pm · $220 per week · Extended camp at Robert W. Rolek Community Center.
• Specialty Extended Summer Camp 2026 — Ages 5-12; child must have already attended kindergarten to enroll in School-Age Summer Camp · Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm-6:00 pm · $35 per week · Focuses on different topics throughout the summer including STEM, art, sports, and more; child must be signed up for the regular or extended camp day to enroll.

A $90 ID/$130 OD non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. Customer cancellations or transfer requests made less than 10 business days prior to the week of service are subject to a $50 cancellation/transfer fee per camper for each request. Payment plan is available. Registration is complete only after submitting the ePACT form no later than 5 days prior to the start of camp or the spot will be forfeited. Preschool Summer Camp is mentioned for children who have not already attended kindergarten.
