Programs are supervised by qualified staff who are certified in first aid and CPR. PDRMA standards require that camp staff participate in First Aid and CPR training, as well as training in all aspects of camp curricula and behavior management, and PDRMA supervision focuses on the safety of participants, staff, and camp activities.
An orientation will be held from 6–7 pm on June 4, 2026, in the Senior Center at Rolek Community Center. Registration for 2026 Summer Camp begins February 2, 2026, and a payment plan is available for camp. The Round Lake Area Park District provides financial assistance and scholarships to residents who are interested in enrolling in a program but are unable to do so due to financial difficulties. Campers are asked to come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes that can get dirty, with gym shoes highly recommended, and to bring a reusable water bottle, a healthy lunch, a healthy snack, a swimsuit, a towel, and sunscreen each day.
