New Life Christian Camp offers Christian programs and activities that include Vacation Bible School, Youth Group, Young Adults, and Adult Bible Studies. The camp also offers community outreach services and access to a disc golf course as one of its activities.

New Life Christian Camp is a religious nonprofit charitable organization that works under the Illinois Revenue Code 501(c)(3) and has welcomed campers of all ages to Christian programs, activities, and community outreach services since 1914. It is a nondenominational Christian camp with a legacy of new and old rituals unique to New Life Christian Camp, and its main annual event is a family camp in July called Camp Fusion, which includes activities scheduled for all ages such as Vacation Bible School, Youth Group, Young Adults, and Adult Bible Studies. The camp’s grounds mainly function off volunteers and giving individuals, and for the first 100 years of summer camp it ran 100% from donations. In 2021, New Life Christian Camp mutually ended ties with the Free Methodist Church in order to establish the campground as a self-sustaining, non-denominational nonprofit.
New Life Christian Camp’s facilities include the Shepherd's Inn with 10 motel rooms, twelve renovated cabins, a youth chapel, nursery, two apartments, RV hook ups, an open air tabernacle, a dining hall, and a disc golf course, and these facilities are available year around. The center of life at the camp focuses between the open air tabernacle and dining hall where kids, youth, and adults gather outside, and the camp describes its setting as having a true camp feel of being away from distractions and enjoying the outdoors with others.
As part of its Christian mission, New Life Christian Camp offers assistance for individuals or families experiencing hardship, including possible assistance for temporary housing or room costs when resources allow. New Life Christian Camp Association makes its facilities available to churches, ministries, nonprofit organizations, families, and community groups in furtherance of its religious and charitable mission, and the facilities have been made available for community outreach, emergency housing, and disaster relief when needed. For many years the camp partnered with the Free Methodist Church and operated in collaboration to hold various meetings and camps on these grounds, and it is now able to engage with churches from other denominations as well.
