Kris' Power Tumbling, Dance, & Cheer Center offers classes in tumbling, trampoline, cheerleading, and dance. Dance options at the program include tap, ballet, and jazz.

For over 30 years, Kris' Power Tumbling, Dance, & Cheer Center has focused on tumbling, trampoline, cheer, and dance. Founder Kris Metzger opened the first gym in Cowden in 1995 and expanded to Shelbyville in 1997. Kris Metzger is a former U.S. Tumbling Association (USTA) National Coach of the Year.
The program’s mission states that it is built on the values of teamwork, hard work, and fun, and that it provides a safe and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and excel. The program reports 32 team national titles, 28 USTA and USAG National Team members, and 9 athletes who have competed at World Competitions in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Kris created a memorial scholarship in honor of her daughter Riley that supports advanced students with lessons or college funding, and the program lists Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsors, including local businesses such as A&A Excavating and Shelby Inn. Families can use the iClassPro App and KPTCStrong to stay up to date on news, join classes, and book parties.
