The league includes U8–U19 boys and girls teams and hosts 800+ teams and 10,000–12,000 youth players annually. CISL offers competitive play for all levels across these different game formats.

Chicago Fire FC has acquired Chicagoland Indoor Soccer League from its founder and operator, John Niestrom.
