Skokie Park District Summer Camps include a wide range of options such as general Summer Camp, sports programs, nature and outdoor camps, cultural arts and dance camps, theater camps, and STEM and enrichment camps. Specific offerings include Sports Camp North and Sports Camp South, Junior Lifeguard Camp, Outdoor Challenge Camp, Earth Explorers, Earth Travelers, Earth Rangers, Little Earth Scouts, Earth Trekkers, Taiga Gymnastics Summer Camp, Learn to Skate & Play Camp, Figure Skating Camp, Hockey Camp, Junior Tennis Camps, Youth Baseball Camp, Varsity Sports Camp, and multiple Hot Shots Sports skills camps in soccer, flag football, baseball, Nerf & dodgeball, softball, archery, sand volleyball, basketball, total sports, girls multi-sport, lunch & games, and tiny tots sports. Additional camps include Teen Travelers, Teen Waterpark Tour, Urban Adventures, Little Travelers, Final Camp Fling, Circus Camp and Circus Camp Intensive, Little Dancers Camp, Dance Intensive Camp, Move & Groove, Mini Movers, Summer on Broadway, Summer on Broadway Rising, Summer on Broadway Intensive, Behind the Scenes, Cultural Arts Camp, Art Sparks, Cooking Adventures, Challenger International Soccer Camp, International Basketball Academy, The Imaginary Game, Chess Scholars, Brickcraft Game with LEGO®, Coding Using LEGO® Spike Prime System, Pokémon Engineering Using LEGO® Materials, Jurassic Engineering Using LEGO®, Sports Lab with LEGO®, Science of Art, Gadget Design, Famous Scientists, Carnival Contraptions, Go Green, Engineering Through Time, and Boom, Pop, Splat!.

• Schedule: February 4 Virtual Camp Open House at 6 p.m.; camp registration for Skokie residents begins February 8 at noon; camp registration for non-residents begins February 22 at 8:30 a.m.

For decades, the Skokie Park District has provided summer camps. The Skokie Park District states that its summer camps focus on adventure, friendship, fun, exploration, discovery, and safety, and that every summer the camp program promises to offer another experience for the children of Skokie. The camps earn national accreditation.

The Skokie Park District leadership team for these programs includes Executive Director Michelle Tuft, CPRE; Superintendent of Business Services William Schmidt, CPA; Superintendent of Parks, Planning & Facilities Corrie Guynn, CPRP, CPSI, CA, CPO; Superintendent of Recreation & Facilities Breanne Labus, CPRP; Assistant Superintendent of Recreation Mary Amato; and Director of Communications & Marketing Jim Bottorff. Staff credentials also include Ethan Bontly, MSc, CPRP; Jennie Bever, MS, CPRP; Kurt von Helms, CIRM; and Jim Hallm, ISA Certified Arborist.
