The Cage is an indoor baseball and softball training program that offers lessons, individual rentals, team rentals, camps, clinics, athletic training, baseball training, and softball training. Participants can use batting cages for batting practice, a full length pitching lane for pitching, and space that can be opened for fielding work.
The Cage was founded in 2008 by Shawn and Ryan Tabeling. The program offers instruction from some of the top most experienced instructors in the area. The founders state that they remain dedicated to offering the community an exceptional baseball and softball experience, and describe The Cage as the leading indoor baseball and softball training facility in downstate Illinois.
