About

Illinois Basketball Club offers personal training, group training, and skill training for basketball players. The program also includes agility training, jump training, and strength training.

Illinois Basketball Club states that its mission is to train and equip basketball players physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The program focuses on developing the whole athlete, including on-court physical skill sets and off-court disciplines that promote an overall healthy lifestyle. It also focuses on developing players’ basketball IQ, their ability to cope with potential positive and negative outcomes of playing basketball, and their identity, emphasizing that basketball is not who they are but something that can be used to glorify God.

The leadership team includes Delandis Beck as Director and Coach and Jamie as Administrator, with Delandis Beck also quoted as Director. One statement from Director Delandis Beck says that the game of basketball can make a college degree a real possibility for those who are willing to work, and that the program believes in helping players earn a college degree without the financial debt traditionally associated with higher education. Another statement from him explains that, in order to address certain issues, the program aims to develop the whole athlete.

Illinois Basketball Club notes that some of the events it hosts serve the entire state of Illinois. Its day-to-day operation is described as serving basketball players from Champaign north to Kankakee, east to Danville, south to Effingham, west to Springfield, and the areas in between. The program is identified as Illinois Basketball Club© 2025.
