About
Vernon Hills Soccer Club Camps focuses on soccer fun, skill development, and teamwork. Campers work on dribbling, passing, and shooting through exercises and games designed to improve touch on the ball, decision-making, coordination, and creativity. Each day of the 2025 Champions Summer Soccer Camp focuses on a specific skill set such as dribbling, passing, or shooting.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: July 14–17, 2025, 4:30–6:30 PM
• Price: $145 per player (includes camp t-shirt)
The camp is led by a staff of professional coaches. Boys and girls entering 1st–6th grade in fall 2025 can attend, and both travel and recreational level players are divided according to ability. Coaches emphasize respect, honesty, leadership, positive attitude, sportsmanship, and creativity throughout the camp session. The Vernon Hills Soccer Club (VHSC) was founded in 2009 with a guiding principle of providing best in class teaching and coaching that fosters a lifelong love of the game and develops players of all skill-sets to realized potential. VHSC is affiliated with the Illinois Youth Soccer Association, a member of US Youth Soccer, with boys’ teams competing in the Young Sportsmen’s Soccer League (YSSL) and girls’ teams in the Illinois Women’s Soccer League (IWSL), and after U12 players join affiliate FC United.
