Vernon Hills Soccer Club Camps focuses on soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and shooting. Campers take part in exercises and games designed to improve their touch on the ball, decision-making, coordination, and creativity. Players are divided according to ability, and each day of camp focuses on a specific skill set such as dribbling, passing, or shooting.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: July 13–16, 2026, with a week of soccer fun, skill development, and teamwork
• Price: $150 per player (includes camp t-shirt)
The camps are led by a staff of professional coaches. Coaches emphasize respect, honesty, leadership, positive attitude, sportsmanship, and creativity throughout the camp session. Vernon Hills Soccer Club offers these camps for boys and girls entering 1st–6th grade in fall 2026 at both travel and recreational levels. The Vernon Hills Soccer Club (VHSC) was founded in 2009, starting with one team. VHSC was founded to provide a local alternative to soccer players in the Vernon Hills area, with a guiding principle of best in class teaching and coaching that fosters a lifelong love of the game and develops players of all skill-sets to realized potential. VHSC is affiliated with the Illinois Youth Soccer Association, a member of US Youth Soccer. Boys teams compete in the Young Sportsmen’s Soccer League (YSSL) and girls teams compete in the Illinois Women’s Soccer League (IWSL), and after U12 players join the affiliate FC United.
