Prairie States Christian Service Camp

Prairie States Christian Service Camp is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian camp that focuses on faith, friends, fellowship, and fun coming together in one experience. The camp identifies itself as one of, if not the cheapest, camps to attend, with most of its budget supported by people who believe in what the camp does through prayers and financial support.

• Price: Less than 20% of camp costs are covered by the fees charged; the rest of the budget is provided by people who support the camp.

Prairie States Christian Service Camp is directed by a Camp Manager, Dr. Chauncey A. Lattimer, Jr., who is responsible to a Board of Directors composed of members of the supporting Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. The Board of Directors is made up of members from supporting churches located in or around Iroquois County, Illinois. The camp describes itself as a great investment in spiritual development and states that it continually strives to find new ways to improve its ability to share the love of Jesus, with a desire to create a positive Christian experience for all who attend.
