About
Teen & Gym Night includes two monthly events: Teen Night and Gym Night. Teen Night is held for 5th–8th grade students, and Gym Night is held for children in kindergarten through 4th grade. Pop, candy, and pizza are available to purchase during these events.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Monthly events during the school year from September through May, 7pm–9pm
• Price: Admission is $8 at the door.
Teen Night takes place on the 2nd Friday of each month from 7pm–9pm for 5th–8th graders, and Gym Night takes place on the 3rd Friday of each month from 7pm–9pm for children in kindergarten through 4th grade. Teen & Gym Night are monthly events held for Village of Winthrop Harbor residents and begin during the school year in September and run until May. The normal school dress code is enforced at these events.
All parents need to sign their child in when dropping them off. Once a child enters the Schlader building, they are not allowed to leave until 9pm or until a parent comes to the door to pick them up. All parents picking up their child at 9pm are asked to come inside and walk out with their child. Older siblings are not allowed to stay; pickup must be done by a parent only. The Winthrop Harbor Parks and Recreations Department states that it prides itself on creating places to “Live, Laugh, and Play” for the community, including parks, programs, and places for people to enjoy life and improve health.
