1st Alliance Volleyball Club offers junior volleyball through girls volleyball teams, a nationally recognized boys program called Lions Boys, and in-house co-ed developmental leagues held in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. The program also offers a nationally recognized beach volleyball program, along with lessons, clinics, camps, and early youth programs.

Lions Jrs. was organized in 1993, and in 2004 it joined with 2nd City VBC and Club Elite VBC to form 1st Alliance Volleyball Club. 1st Alliance Volleyball Club states that it is dedicated to developing junior volleyball players in a friendly, caring, competitive environment. The club describes itself as a premier Chicago volleyball club with a dedication toward mindful development of the complete athlete, and it offers multiple girls teams competing in age groups from 10 & Under (3/4th Grade) through 18 & Under (Seniors), along with a nationally recognized boys program (Lions Boys) and a nationally recognized beach volleyball program. The club runs in-house, co-ed, developmental leagues in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer and uses a combination of strong junior tournament events to make its competition schedule one of the toughest in the country. Each 1st Alliance team qualified for USAV Nationals in Houston in the club’s inaugural season, and the club reports continued qualification of teams in the open divisions at Junior Olympics with successful finishes each year.

1st Alliance Volleyball Club reports that it is one of the most respected and successful volleyball clubs in Chicago and that it has had over 625 athletes playing volleyball in college since 1998. In the past 10 years, the club reports averaging over 31 athletes playing volleyball in college, which it states ranks 1st in the nation according to RichKern.com, and it reports being ranked #2 in the nation for number of Division I-level athletes since it began. In one set of reported results, the club lists 13 first-place gold medal national championships (AAU & USAV), 19 second-place silver medal finishes, and 24 third-place bronze medal finishes at national championships (AAU & USAV). In another set of reported results, it lists 10 first-place gold medal national championships (AAU & USAV), 18 second-place silver medal finishes, and 21 third-place bronze medal finishes at national championships (AAU & USAV). The club reports 313+ alumni who have competed at the Division I level and 563+ alumni playing college volleyball since 1999, and it also states that it is #1 in the nation for Division I athletes since it began.
