About

Anderson Soccer Camps offers residential and day soccer camps that include soccer skills training, teamwork and game knowledge development, drills, practice games, and professional coaching. Campers take part in goalkeeping instruction and training sessions, evening game sessions with a variety of games, swimming and pool opportunities, and videos and games, with rain plans that include playing inside a 133,000 sq. ft. Wellness Center. Anderson Little Kickers is a related camp that also runs under the Anderson Soccer Camps name.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: ASC Residential/Day Soccer Camp 2026 runs July 5–9, 2026 (5 days), and Anderson Little Kickers runs July 6–9, 2026 (4 days); overnight campers check in Sunday 4:30–5:30 p.m. and check out Thursday at 4:30 p.m. after an awards ceremony, day campers check in Sunday 4:30–5:30 p.m. and are picked up at 8:30 p.m., then attend daily 9 a.m.–8:30 p.m. with pick-up at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, and Anderson Little Kickers meets Monday–Thursday 9:30–11:30 a.m. with a short awards ceremony Thursday at 11:15 a.m.
• Price: Anderson Little Kickers tuition is $89 and includes a t-shirt, ball, camp picture, and awards/certificate; overnight camp tuition is $479 until January 1, 2026 and $499 on and after January 2, 2026, and day camp tuition is $395, with both main camp options including meals, t-shirt, ball, swimming, camp picture, counseling awards, and an individual evaluation; all camp tuition is due June 15, there is a $50 non-refundable registration fee for any requested refunds, and no refunds are given after May 15.

Daily activities for the main camp follow a set schedule that includes breakfast at 8 a.m., Session I at 9:15 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m., rest time at noon, Session II at 1:15 p.m., free time or pool at 3:45 p.m., dinner at 4:45 p.m., Games Session III at 6:15 p.m., videos, games, or swimming at 8:30 p.m., and lights out at 10:15 p.m. for intermediate campers. Campers play on the KWC mondo surface and are required to wear inside shoes for that surface.

Anderson Soccer Camps is one of the longest-running residential/day soccer camps in the Midwest and has trained more than 15,000 campers. The camp offers residential (overnight) and day camp options, separates training groups by gender and skill at different sessions, provides a full keeper staff with daily instruction and training sessions, and has licensed athletic trainers on site for the entire camp. Camp tuition for the main camp includes items such as a t-shirt, ball, camp picture, counseling awards, and an individual evaluation, and Anderson Little Kickers tuition includes a t-shirt, ball, camp picture, and awards/certificate.

The camp director, Scott Fridley, is nationally licensed by the NSCAA and the USSF, has led men’s teams to two conference championships and two post-season tournament championships with over 250 wins, and has coached 30 years of youth travel soccer with more than 350 wins. He has served four terms on the NCAA tournament selection committee for men’s and women’s soccer, served 12 years on the NSCAA National Ethics committee, and his teams have been named NSCAA All-Academic Team 22 times and NSCAA Ethics Team 7 times. Additional leadership includes Drew Zellers (NSCAA Advanced National license and USSF C license), Bobby Holden (NSCAA Premier coach’s license and goalkeeping director), and staff members Derrick Spires and Jackson Schlemmer.

For more than 32 years, Anderson University has been home to Anderson Soccer Camps, and Scott Fridley is entering his 30th year as founder and director while starting his 35th year at Anderson University. Anderson University’s roots go back to 1917, when the Anderson Bible Training School was established, and over the next 100 years it grew into a private, liberal arts institution that is regionally accredited and has been consistently ranked among America’s top colleges. Anderson University is involved in study, service, and sharing in 102 countries and 27 states through the Tri-S Program.

The camp’s stated mission is: “We believe that building values in our campers through soccer helps the integrity of the total game. We believe in the total player.” Camp rules include no cleats in dorms or dining hall, boys and girls not being allowed on each other’s dorm floors, and campers staying with their counselor when away from the dorm. A detailed packing list includes clothing for up to four sessions a day, swimsuit and towels, toiletries, bedding for residential campers, cleats or flats, inside shoes for the KWC mondo surface, flip flops, sunscreen at the child’s discretion, mandatory shin guards for all sessions, athletic tape if needed, spending money for the camp store and snacks, a small equipment bag, and instructions that all medicines be brought to the trainer table at check-in if the child needs assistance.
