Hamilton North Futbol Club offers recreational soccer, Rec Plus soccer, and travel soccer. The club runs a recreational soccer league, a Rec Plus program that includes player evaluations, and travel teams that participate in the Indiana Soccer League.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: HNFC League seasons run outdoors in the fall (early August to mid-October) with registration June to August, and outdoors in the spring (April to early June) with registration January to March; teams in the U-6 league are scheduled for 8 games, U-8 for 10 games, U-10 for 12 games, and PreK–High School teams for 8–10 games per season; Rec Plus includes 8 games (4 home and 4 away) and a tournament; travel teams typically have 8 regular season games (4 at home, 4 away) and may participate in a tournament.
Hamilton North Futbol Club is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% volunteer run. The club registers approximately 150–175 children each season and relies completely on parent coaches. All recreational team members play at least half of every game, and there are no cuts or tryouts for the recreational program. Rec Plus participation is first come, first served for eligible players, includes player evaluations, and playing time is not guaranteed. Travel soccer includes tryouts, coach-selected players, and typical travel distances of about 30–45 minutes, with some trips up to 60–75 minutes. Travel coaches are required by Indiana Soccer to have their coaching license. Suggested practice frequency is 1–2 practices a week maximum.
Hamilton North Futbol Club has a mission to provide an opportunity for youth in the Northern Hamilton County Indiana area to play soccer at recreational and competitive levels. The club states that it strives to promote the game of soccer for the physical and mental benefit of players, parents, and coaches while encouraging good sportsmanship and fair play. Its mission is described as focusing on providing opportunities for players of all levels and backgrounds to play soccer, training players to their fullest potential while teaching skills and sportsmanship, believing in the potential of all players and helping them build confidence, and recognizing that practices and games do not always have to be all business. HNFC states that it strives to promote the game of soccer for all players and all skill levels.
The club runs an Impact Player of the Week program where one player from every age group is selected each week and winners receive a World Cup soccer ball. PorterHouse Contracting donates World Cup soccer balls for these Impact Player of the Week awards. HNFC participates in the Indy Premier Rec Plus program, follows weather guidelines set by Indiana Soccer, and references Indiana Soccer risk management resources. REC Plus teams have trained at Sogility Westfield, and HNFC has expressed thanks to the Sogility team for creating a training environment. The club also thanks Hamilton Heights staff for work on field maintenance.

Uniform jerseys are to be purchased from soccer.com, and players need black shorts, black socks, shin guards, a soccer ball, and a water bottle. The club has rules that include no parking on the cross country track, no motorized vehicles unless special permission is received from the board, no smoking, vaping, alcoholic beverages or drugs on school property, no animals or pets allowed, and no littering with a request to use trash cans.
