Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen

Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen offers Japanese cooking classes and an online "Intro to Sushi" class. The classes include sushi making, Japanese street food, ramen sets, curry, bento, and potstickers, and the online Zoom class covers making a California roll and chopstick etiquette. Classes are hands on and participants eat everything they make.

About the provider

Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen was founded on March 15, 2015. Mori Lemau leads the program. The mission is to teach healthy, satisfying Japanese food and homestyle cooking, with a focus on Japanese cuisine, culture, and history. Mori Lemau was a Japanese language teacher by trade and has 30+ years of Japanese cooking magazines from her mother's favorite cooking show in Japan, plus hundreds of Japanese cooking videos.
