Dunes Learning Center offers Dunes Discovery Camps for ages 9-13, Nat’s Sleepover Camp for ages 9-11, and Dunes Adventure Teen Camp for ages 14-17. It also offers Nature Navigators for grades 3-5, Citizen Science for grades 6-8, Watershed Education for grades 3-Adult, Dunes To You for grades PreK-Adult, and Customized Environmental Education Programs for grades K-12.

Programs

  • Dunes Discovery Camps — 9-13 · $689 · Four separate weeks (5 days/4 nights): June 15-19, July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24. Deposit $150, non-refundable fee $45.
  • Nat’s Sleepover Camp — 9-11 · $419 · July 27-29. Camp arrival: 9am on Monday, July 27. Camp departure: 5pm on Wednesday, July 29. Deposit $150, non-refundable fee $45.
  • Dunes Adventure Teen Camp — 14-17 · $689 · June 29-July 3. Deposit $150, non-refundable fee $45.
  • Nature Navigators — Grades 3-5 · School year environmental education program in the community.
  • Citizen Science — Grades 6-8 · School year environmental education program in the community.
  • Watershed Education — Grades 3-Adult · School year environmental education program in the community.
  • Dunes To You — Grades PreK-Adult · Hands-on learning at your classroom and outdoor natural sites near you.
  • Customized Environmental Education Programs — Grades K–12 · Offers customized environmental education programs that support STEAM learning and classroom goals.

About the provider

Dunes Learning Center has offered outdoor environmental science programs since 1998. It is accredited by the American Camp Association and serves more than 20,000 students each year across Northwest Indiana, Chicago, and beyond.

Scholarships remain available for students who qualify. Scholarship is based on free and reduced lunch rates. Additional discounts may apply for your group. Prices vary by program.
