Columbus Parks and Recreation Youth Sports Programs include youth baseball divisions such as T-ball, Jr Coach Pitch, Machine Pitch, Minor, Major, and Senior, as well as a Youth Flag Football League. The programs also offer basketball options including a Youth Basketball Camp, The National Basketball Academy Basketball Camp, the IUC Prospect Camp, and the Cincinnati Reds Winter Camp, along with Youth Fencing sessions.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Seasonal leagues and camps with spring baseball games beginning in May, a spring flag football season from May 23–June 27, winter baseball day camps in December and January, a week-long basketball camp June 22–26, a two-day prospect basketball camp June 10–11, and monthly Youth Fencing sessions offered November through April.

The Youth Baseball League states a mission to ensure that each participant registered for the program has a safe, fun, and enriching experience with baseball, and the Board’s mission is “To enrich lives” within the department’s planning area. Cincinnati Reds Winter Camps are described as being back for their 4th year, and over the past 14 years the Reds have built one of the finest youth camp programs in the country, using a progressive curriculum that targets pitching, hitting, fielding, or catching. The National Basketball Academy Basketball Camp is described as a week-long session of concentrated basketball training with individual skill development and daily competitions, and the IUC Prospect Camp is described as being for potential student athletes interested in playing collegiate basketball and includes evaluation by the IUC coaching staff. Youth Fencing is offered in partnership with the Salle de Lutins Fencing Club and includes instruction on form, technique, and how to properly engage in a bout, with equipment available to rent for $20 during the class.

Columbus Parks and Recreation lists Seth Rice as Sports Programs Manager and Collin Lollar as Sports Coordinator, with the Parks and Recreation Board consisting of Dave Bush (President), Brian Wilson (Vice President), Miriam Portaluppi (Secretary), and Chaz Smith (Member), and Frank Miller serving as City Council Liaison.
