Columbus Parks & Recreation Youth Sports Programs include youth baseball divisions such as T-ball, Jr Coach Pitch, Machine Pitch, Minor, Major, and Senior, as well as a Youth Flag Football League, Youth Fencing, Youth Basketball, Cincinnati Reds Winter Camps, The National Basketball Academy Basketball Camp, and the IUC Prospect Camp. Youth Baseball League division placement is determined by the child’s age on 4/30/26, and all children must be 4 years of age by 4/30/26. Youth Flag Football League divisions are determined by age on 4/30/26, and all children must be 4 years of age by 1/31/26.

• Schedule: Seasonal youth baseball games beginning in May, a spring youth flag football season from May 23–June 27 with six games plus a single-elimination tournament for U11 and U14 divisions, monthly Youth Fencing sessions on Thursdays in November through April, a week-long National Basketball Academy Basketball Camp June 22–26, and a two-day IUC Prospect Camp June 10–11

The 2026 Spring Youth Baseball League has games and practices with T-ball and Jr Coach Pitch games on Saturday mornings, and Machine Pitch, Minor, Major, and Senior games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with registration from December 15 to February 27, an early discount deadline of February 13, and a refund deadline of February 20. The 2026 Spring Youth Flag Football League runs May 23–June 27 with six Saturday morning games and a single-elimination tournament for U11 and U14 divisions, with registration from March 2–April 17, an early discount deadline of April 3, and a refund deadline of April 10. Youth Fencing sessions in November and December run for three weeks, and January through April sessions run for four weeks, with separate class times for ages 7–11 and ages 12+ and optional equipment rental for $20 during class.
Cincinnati Reds Winter Camps are described as one of the finest youth camp programs in the country, are in their fourth year, and use a progressive curriculum that targets pitching, hitting, fielding, or catching. The National Basketball Academy Basketball Camp groups campers by age and skill level whenever possible and focuses on individual skill development and daily competitions. The IUC Prospect Camp is for potential student athletes interested in playing collegiate basketball and includes evaluation by the IUC coaching staff during games.
Columbus Parks & Recreation uses the Remind notification system to alert participants of cancellations and closures due to weather, and for 2026 Youth Baseball, participants can use the Remind code he6d3d to receive reminders and important information. Practice cancellation decisions for youth baseball and youth flag football are determined by the coach, and Parks and Recreation staff will not have that information and it will not be posted on the site. Youth Fencing provides instruction on form, technique, and how to properly engage in a bout.
