Columbus Youth Camp Summer Programs include activities such as a zip line, a team challenge course, paddling on the lake, STEM projects, sports, arts, cooking, outdoor adventure, 3D projects, swimming, hiking on trails, playing games, water activities, reading, math, and social-emotional learning. The programs also offer CYC Specialty Camps with themed weeks that focus on areas such as STEM, sports, arts, cooking, and outdoor adventure, and may include occasional field trips as part of these Specialty Camps.

Foundation For Youth, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has been active in serving youth and families since 1928, and Columbus Youth Camp has offered fun, laughter, and learning since 1935. The mission of Foundation For Youth is “To Inspire and Enable Our Youth, Our Community.” Staff at Columbus Youth Camp include team members certified through the Child and Youth Care Certification Board (CYCCB), a nationally recognized certification with standards in youth development, relationship building, crisis intervention, and ethical practice. Foundation For Youth’s STAY Youth program is designated a Platinum Level participant, and the organization relies on community support, volunteers, and partnerships to sustain its programs and expand outreach, including the M.E.T.A.S. partnership with Su Casa Columbus that serves Latino students in grades 1–6 with free transportation and meals.
