Foundation For Youth (FFY), which operates FFY Athletics, has been active in serving youth and families since 1928. Its programs are grounded in four cornerstones: Commitment to Learning, Character and Leadership, Positive Identity, and Healthy Lifestyles. FFY programs include Columbus Youth Camp, where kids explore 137 acres of forest, trails, and water, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bartholomew County and the Safe Place program. FFY reports that its programs reach thousands of children each year.

Staff at FFY include team members certified through the Child and Youth Care Certification Board (CYCCB), a nationally recognized certification with standards in youth development, relationship building, crisis intervention, and ethical practice. Foundation For Youth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is designated a Platinum Level participant for transparency. FFY relies on community support, volunteers, and partnerships, and local leaders have joined with FFY to invest in children and support a more unified community. The mission of Foundation For Youth is “To Inspire and Enable Our Youth, Our Community.”
