About

Foundation For Youth After School Program includes hands-on experiences in the Maker's Studio and time in the Comcast xFinity Computer Lab. The program also offers Cranium Bowl, a Game Room, access to playgrounds and gymnasiums, and activities such as field trips, a stay at Columbus Youth Camp, the FFY Kid Talent Show, and an End of Summer Carnival. During fall and spring breaks, activities include fun games, scavenger hunts, and staff-versus-club member basketball matchups.

Foundation For Youth After School Program is part of Foundation For Youth (FFY), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has served youth and families across Bartholomew County and beyond since 1928. The program offers programming for FFY Kids in Kindergarten to sixth grade with additional teen programming and serves all school-aged youth in K–12th grades. FFY follows a TBRI/trauma-informed approach with all members and focuses on a safe, positive environment, fun, supportive relationships, opportunities and expectations, and recognition. Programs are grounded in four cornerstones: Commitment to Learning, Character and Leadership, Positive Identity, and Healthy Lifestyles. Staff certified through the Child and Youth Care Certification Board (CYCCB) hold a nationally recognized certification. FFY is home to multiple programs, including Athletics, Aquatics, Boys & Girls Club, Columbus Youth Camp, TBRI: Foundation For Hope, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bartholomew County, Council for Youth Development, Bartholomew County Prevention Initiatives, and Safe Place.
